With a wide variety of different shops and restaurants to choose from, shopping and dining are both top notch in Southlake. The Southlake Town Square is particularly great, with over 120 shops and restaurants. Shops include everything from Tyler’s and Whole Earth Provision Co. to Chico’s and Anthropologie. Plus, you’ll also find specialty stores such as Apple, Pottery Barn, and Barnes & Noble. And when it comes to restaurants, there’s something for everyone – from fast casual to fine dining and everything in-between. Some favorites include Cheesecake Factory, Mi Cocina, Sushi Zushi, Del Frisco’s, and Brio.
Entertainment and Fun
There’s so much to do in Southlake! If you’re looking to catch a movie, the Harkin Theater is located right in the middle of Southlake Town Square. Or, if you’re looking for something a little more hands-on, Central Market and Sur La Table offer a variety of fun and unique cooking classes. Plus, Southlake Town Square hosts a number of different festivals and events throughout the year, including a Christmas Celebration, Art Festival, October-fest Event, regular live music downtown and more. Schools and Education
The Schools in Southlake are fabulous. In fact, Carroll ISD – the K-12 public school system serving the Southlake area – was rated as “Exemplary” by the Texas Education Agency. Home of the Carroll Dragons, the school district contains 11 schools and serves over 8,000 students in total. Carroll ISD also offers many AP and Honors classes in addition to its overall challenging curriculum. Approximately 99% of seniors who graduate from Carroll ISD go on to attend college or university after graduation.
